More seeds

Over the weekend I started pots of Suncherry Premium at £3.69 for 6 seeds,a rip off if it hadn't of been for the the £5 voucher from T@M,Red Brunswick and Crimson Forest onions,Jumbo Sweet F1 Hybrid peppers and a heirloom mix of tomatoes from the Grow Your Own Seed circle which contain  Maskotka, Vova Yellow, Black Plum, Beijing Yellow, Koralik,Pendula Orange and Maja.
The heated propagator is doing its job and so far the following seeds are up and are currently on the windowsill.
Madame Jardel's Black
Kenilworth St George
Betimes Macbeth
Monkey's Ass
Slovenian Black
Sungella
Sungold
Bishops Children dahlias
Picolino cucumbers
Zinnia Purple Prince,Envy Double and Queen Red Lime.
I think they have a little bit more time until potting on.

Long time no post

It's been a while since my last post due to the fact that the weather has been awful and my illness leaves me very tired.

However April has seen the start of seed planting.
The heated propagator has been switched on and currently has the following tomatoes in it.
Madame Jardel's Black
Koralik
Kenilworth St.George
Betimes Macbeth
Monkey's Ass
Slovenian Black
In an unheated propagator I have started off the following.
Bishop's Children Dahlia
Rudbeckia Cherry Brandy and Rustic Dwarf
Aubergine Black Enorma
First In Field and Maskotka tomatoes
Sweet Genovese and Red Basil

Tomato seed saving.

Harvested my first Beijing Yellow tomato today, the taste is nothing spectactular but I am saving the seeds.I also harvested some Slovenian Black tomatoes that have a much nicer taste and likewise am saving seeds from them.
It's a production line at the moment.
Harbinger,Reisentraube and Slovenian Black have been fermented, cleaned and are now drying.
Latah and Early Tanana have been dried and bagged up for the Grapevine seed circle.15 packets of each will hopefully be enough.

Weekly Update

The last of my tulips,a rather nice variety called Pacific Pearl, this week I have been deadheading my Daffodils and as the council have resumed green waste collection I can do lots of weeding and pruning.
I have started Paton's Twins Giant Pumpkin,Blue Solaise Leek,Purple Sprouting Broccoli,Primo Compact Cabbage,Romanesco Cauliflower,Koralik tomatoes and some French Winner Marigolds.
I have potted on Principe Borghese,Shirley F1,Anaheim Chilli and Black Velvet Nasturtiums.
I have also repotted my Rogue seed Beefsteak and Early Tanana into larger pots in readiness for going outside.
Down the allotment in between showers I have finally planted a batch of Babbington Leeks which I received in a seed swap.
I have got fed up of the lack of space in the conservatory so I have reorganised the blowaway and put in a couple of Reisentraube,Latah,Slovenian Black and Early Tanana tomatoes together with the obligatory tray of Marigolds.
